I've probably just spent far too much time around cancer patients, but the whole Sinead O'connor look that comes with the Santa hat (and witch hat) freaks me bigtime. I can't say the Jester's cap does much for me, either -- less chemo-cappy than the Santa hat, but still freaky somehow. The Freezie hat is nice enough, but makes me feel like I should be sitting by a drive thru saying "Welcome to Jack 'n the Box!". The Horns of Grenth... Well, I could do without the front fin part, but they're otherwise pretty kewl -- definitely the best of the lot by a long margin.

My order. I missed last season's horns by minutes, so they're unranked.

2005 Yule Cap = Favorite
Freezie and Great Horns = toss up
Jester hat= Third, dye makes it a custom article
2006 Yule Cap = Took everything that was spiffy about the 05' version away

The freezie hat was instantly my favorite. The jester cap to me is the worst cap of all ever released. It's just corny and looks horrible.

Jester hat FTW! I'm going to dye mine all sorts of colors, and they look so neat!

... then again, they remind me of my funny hat that I wear to work sometimes, so maybe that's it.

Horns a reasonable second.

I like the horns from both this year and last. I'm not much of a fan of this year's yule cap because it looks like it's on viagra. :\

The 2005 Yule cap was great because it was big and exaggerated. It looked really comfy to wear and hid the fact that it took your character's hair away. This year its way too tight which looks very funny on any character who has even the smallest ammount of hair and it doesn't look lazy and natural anymore.

The Jester hat is next because well jester hats kickass but its still too tight and the bells could hang lower still its pretty good at hiding the baldness and its dyeable.

Anet shoots... they SCORE .... with the Freezie Crown!

Freezie crown rox and i dont think i'll be taking it off any time soon. Thats how much I <3 it.

The antlers were way too big this year and look horrible on some of my toons that are small.

The jester hat and yule cap are just okay imo.

Overall, the hats were great and by reading this thread you can see they did a good job because of the varied responses of who liked what hat the most. I think that's what they we're looking to do... mission accomplised anet.
